Energy Flash by Simon Reynolds

We have a large collection of rave books and I am slowly working my way through them. This months interesting read has been Energy Flash by Simon Reynolds. Its a good book. The problem with all these books though I find is that they all cover the same periods.. whether this is because they all copy each other or whether they are all London based authors and therefore a little out of touch with what everyone else was doing... either the early days / M25 illegal parties or the raise of the super clubs. The years Fantazia were doing parties gets little attention on the whole, even those this is when raving was at its height nationwide and in the media.. worth buying for sure though.  We sell copies of many of the books on the Fantazia website just click the title link to have a look.
