An end of an era? The BBC have announced that they are cancelling the age of Top of the Pops show, having shoved it around the schedules for a few years and change the format in a desperate attempt to find an audience. Is this a sad day, or with the Digital ages are there enough alternate show on like MTV etc? I have to say I havent watch it for a while, is this down to the music or the show? Dance was never well represented on the programme, and even when it was faceless/nameless guys dancing behind decks always looked a tad rediculous............RIP Top of the Pops
ps Top of the Pops 2 will continue. Now that is a show I watch. Perhaps its seeing all those weird fashions from yester year or bad haircuts! Now that is one reason Top of the Pops will be missed, where will todays fashions trends be captured........
Founded 1991, Fantazia held the largest ever raves, during 91-93, culminating in One Step Beyond (30k). Other parties include the Big Bang@SECC, Summertime, Bournemouth (as seen ITN News). Fantazia also organised the rave on Inspector Morse and has the largest amount of rave footage in the UK. We later went on to launch the massive selling House Collection & Club Classics series of compilations.
