Blimey it took a long time to bring this to justice.....story from July... never went there myself. Most blatant dealing I ever remember was at Circus Circus in Northern Ireland. They were just lined up as you went in!
FORMER Teesside rave club owner and fugitive Gary Robb has finally been brought to justice 13 years after fleeing the UK on drugs charges. Robb let a syndicate of in-house drug dealers ply their trades at his popular and notorious 1990s nightspot.
The 47-year-old, who flew to Northern Cyprus avoiding a trial in 1997, was jailed for five years yesterday afternoon. Teesside Crown Court heard how Robb and his brother James ran the infamous club, first named the Blue Monkey, then the Colosseum.
Dealers were strategically positioned around the venue to sell drugs, principally Ecstasy and amphetamines, to ravers. Gary was the “business brain” behind the operation on Norton Road, Norton. He made his money mainly from door takings while James employed the dealers and made his money from the drugs, the court was told.
