A weekend in London, Raindance & the Marathon

Well went to Raindance on Saturday. The venue was the SEONE Club under the arches at London Bridge (same place as the London Dungeon). The venue was decked our nicely and with 6 arenas there was plenty of choice to be had, the main rooms being Old Skool & Drum n bass. None of the rooms is terribly large, perhaps 1000 max for the 2 main ones. The line up wasn't the strongest ever maybe reflecting the date a week before a pay day and after a long Easter holiday season. This reflected in the size of the crowd who attended which was well below capacity.

The atmosphere was still good, it was hard to choose between the rooms as to who was having the best time. I of course liked the Old Skool room but did get into the hardhouse and Hardcore rooms as well. Heres to the next one.

As it was gorgeous weather we popped down to the finishing stretch of the London Marathon and cheered on some of the runners. Its was my first time and the atmosphere seemed really good and you really did feel for those few runners that collapsed in the final stretch due to heat exhaustion. Gutting.
