Is rave finally taking the USA by storm? The Guardian say it is

20 years after rave reached its peak in the UK with the massive Fantazia events and others regularly pulling 10's thousand it seems that finally the USA is about to experience some of the same nationwide.  Rave has had main near misses in become a main stream activity in the country but never really broke out from a state level mainly due to the authorities taking a very hard line with anyone doing the parties, seeing them as a cover for drug taking.  Now rave in Amercia has been rebranded EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and with the help of Los Vegas, the place where anything goes as long as the hotels are filled and money is made, its is rapidly becoming the Ibiza of the states.  This is proving to be the spring board to the media attention and the mainstream the music has always needed.

We wish America does discover nationwide, they won't regret it if they end up with anything like the memories we have and have heard Fantazia ravers share with us over the years.  Long live rave music!  Do read the article on the link above.
